At Palazzo della Penna, Perugia, from 6 March to 19 April 2026, the photographic exhibition “Humans of Research” will be on display. Produced by the cooperative Psiquadro, the project focuses on the human side of scientific research. The 2026 edition presents 119 photographs by Marco Giugliarelli portraying twelve Italian researchers working in different fields.

The exhibition highlights not only their professional activity but also personal interests and aspects of their daily lives. The featured researchers come from disciplines such as volcanology, political science, genetics, history, oncology, moral philosophy, physics, marine biology, chemical engineering, climatology and regenerative medicine.

Through these images, the exhibition offers a direct look at the people behind academic and scientific work, presenting an accessible visual narrative of their commitment and everyday experience.
