In Foligno from 15 to 19 April 2026, the 15th edition of Festa di Scienza e Filosofia takes place, dedicated to the theme “A New Scientific Humanism. Perspectives. Hopes. Risks.” The initiative promotes dialogue between science and philosophy, two complementary approaches to knowledge addressing the transformations of the present.

The event brings together scholars, researchers and contemporary philosophers in meetings open to the public, with particular attention to younger audiences. Alongside the main programme, the Festival Previews return with a series of events introducing and expanding on the themes of the 2026 edition.

This year’s edition connects scientific and technological culture with the history of local communities, involving schools, mountain villages and community spaces. Meetings dedicated to the centenary of the birth of Paolo Maffei, an internationally renowned astrophysicist from Foligno, will also continue.
